Flashback from 2008 

A very happy moment for the NSW Swifts, in 2008 they stormed home in the ANZ Championships on the back of a nine game winning streak. The NSW Swifts defeated the Waikato Bay of Plenty Magic in front of 12, 099 fans at Acer Arena. The victory is best summed up by the NSW Swifts coach, Julie Fitzgerald "I think it was just sensational". The final ladder of the 2008 ANZ Championships were;

The players of the 2008 NSW Swifts team were; Catherine Cox (Captain), Selina Gilsenan (Vice Captain), Erin Bell, Rebecca Bulley, Kimberlee Green, Adelaide Johnson, Emma Kister, Tiffany Lincoln, Susan Pratley, Kimberley Purcell, Leah Shoard and Vanessa Ware.
