The NSW Swifts return home to take on the Adelaide Thunderbirds for the Club's BLOCKBUSTER fixture at the Allphones Arena.
The Swifts are currently sitting third on the ladder, and are taking a three game winning streak into this weekends contest against the defending champions.
The last three match-ups have been decided by three goals or less. NSW Swifts Assistant Coach Megan Anderson expects a tough contest when the two sides step on the court this weekend.
This year in round three the Swifts lost to the Thunderbirds by only one goal, so it will definitely be a tough match. The girls have only had a short preparation for this weeks match after returning home after a successful trip to Perth.
Not only will the Swifts use all they have got, they will hopefully be turning up to a crowd larger than last years at 8,021 spectators. The girls also have their eyes on the Melbourne Vixens ANZ Championships regular season record of 8,509.
Goodluck girls! :)
